Hector Herrera scored the only goal for FC Porto in a 3-1 defeat to Sporting CP on Saturday. Both HH and Jesus "Tecatito" Corona went the distance for the Dragões, while Miguel Layun saw the game from the bench.
Sporting, who trailed league leaders Benfica by five points heading into this match, got things started in the 23rd minute through an Islam Slimani tap-in.
Herrera was active for Porto throughout the first half and capitalized 12 minutes later from the penalty spot to equalize the score.
With just a minute to go in the half, Slimani grabbed his brace when he headed home from a Bryan Ruiz cross.
The match held at that score until the 85th minute when Bruno Cesar sealed the game for Sporting by slipping a shot past Iker Casillas.
