Take a look ahead at Week 15 of Liga MX, with the Liguilla nearly right around the corner, there is still plenty to play for at the top-half of the table.

The week kicks off on Friday with Pumas UNAM hosting Xolos de Tijuana at Ciudad Universitaria. The Universitarios are just two points off eighth place Tigres and will be out to keep their momentum going after a 2-1 win at Chiapas.

A victory here would very much keep their Liguilla hopes alive but Xolos have been a far better side away from home, losing just once to Club America at the Estadio Azteca. The wins have gone missing for Xolos, though, with three straight losses coming into this game. Miguel Herrera's side still harbor an outside chance of reaching the Liguilla and a win here is a must.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, Tigres pay a visit to Santos Laguna at the Estadio Corona. Ricardo' Tuca" Ferretti's side will undoubtedly have one eye on the CONCACAF Champions League return leg against America but they know this is not the time to take the foot off the pedal in the league. The champions need to beat Santos Laguna if they're to maintain a playoff position and anything less could mean dropping out of the top-eight.

Santos Laguna should be fresh and ready to go. They have lost only once in their last eight league games and a win could feasibly clinch them a place in the playoffs.

But the best bet for game of the week is the clash between Pachuca and Chivas. These sides are arguably the two most attack-minded teams in the league, both boasting of exciting young talent. The last time they met the game ended in a thrilling 4-4 encounter.

Chivas are flying, winning their last four games in the league. The Rebaño Sagrado have gone from relegation contenders to three games away from making the playoffs. That alone should be motivation enough to keep their run going and see how far they can make it this season.

Pachuca at home should give Chivas some trouble, however. A win here for Diego Alonso's side would put them on course to a top four finish and a possible return leg at home in the first round. That's all the more relevant here because Pachuca have been just short of perfect at the Estadio Hidalgo, winning four out of their five games to remain undefeated on the season. If there is one game you shouldn't miss this weekend it is this one.
