Miguel Layun records another assist but Porto fall 2-1

Primeira Liga misery continued on Sunday for Miguel Layun and company as FC Porto fell 2-1 to Arouca at the Estadio do Dragao.

Trouble started for Porto before the minute mark when Walter Gonzalez was able to beat his defender at the six-yard box and fire home after only ten seconds.

However, in the 14th minute, a Miguel Layun corner ended with Vincent Aboubakar heading past Rafael Bracali to level things at 1-1. The assist was Layun's 17th since joining the Portuguese side from Watford over the summer.

In all, it was a night to forget for Porto. In the 66th minute, Walter Gonzalez took advantage of a breakdown at the back and surged through the middle to grab his second goal on the night.

The result temporarily leaves Porto five points behind second-place Sporting after 21 games played in the Primeira Liga.

Jesus "Tecatito" Corona and Hector Herrera also started for the Dragões, completing all 90 minutes for José Peseiro.
