Leon salvaged a point against Chivas after goals from Javier “La Chofis” Lopez and Mauro Boselli cancelled each other out in a frenetic game at the Estadio Nou Camp.
The hosts lost Leonel Lopez to a red card early after the youngster received his marching orders for a tackle on Michael Perez.
It didn’t take long for Chivas to take advantage, and ten minutes later, La Chofis latched on to an Isaac Brizuela cross to fire the visitors into the lead.

The home-side settled quickly after that, but they were largely absorbing the pressure after Lopez’s sending off.
After the interval, a penalty was called in favor of the visitors. La Chofis stepped up, but William Yarbrough denied Chivas their second.
Moments later,Edwin Hernandez was sent off for a second yellow card offense, leaving both teams down to ten men.
There was still work to do for Leon, though, and they were handed a way back into the game after a questionable penalty was called for a tackle from Carlos Salcido inside the box. Mauro Boselli made no mistake from the spot to level things at one.

With both managers bidding for the draw, there was time for one last moment of drama when Salcido was sent off for time wasting.
At the end both teams settled for the point, as Chivas sealed their place in the Liguilla.
Next, Matias Almeyda’s side will look to finish in a top-four position when they close out the season against Necaxa, while Leon will decide their Liguilla fate against Cruz Azul.
