Mexico vs. Panama, 2018 World Cup Qualifying: Time, TV schedule and live stream

Soccer: Mexican National Team vs Panama Patrick Gorski-USA TODAY Sports

With Mexico’s historic 2-1 victory over the United States now in the rear-view mirror, El Tri make their second visit of the CONCACAF Hexagonal as they travel to the Estadio Rommel Fernandez to take on Panama.

As far as confidence goes, both teams couldn’t arrive to this match in better form. El Tri broke the “dos a cero” curse with their first World Cup qualifiers win in U.S. soil in 44 years. Meanwhile, Panama went into San Pedro Sula and handed Honduras a 1-0 defeat, which was only their first away win ever in a Hexagonal.

Historically speaking, though, Mexico has had the upper hand over the Canaleros. In their last five encounters, Mexico has four wins and one draw. Their most recent encounter was a friendly last month in Bridgeview, Illinois where Mexico won by just one goal.
