Desperate for points best describes Monterrey’s situation going into the Clásico Regiomontano. Antonio “Turco” Mohamed’s side visits Tigres at the Estadio Universitario in a must-win game for the Rayados.

As of right now, Monterrey are currently three points from eighth place, and with only three regular season games remaining, it is imperative last year’s finalist starts earning points as soon as possible.

But from a Tigres perspective, Ricardo “Tuca” Ferretti’s side is having another decent season, and there is nothing more the Auriazules faithful would like to see than their team knock out their rivals. Tigres are currently third in the table and win would be enough to virtually seal their place in the Liguilla.
