Week 13 of Liga MX comes to a conclusion this Sunday with Chivas visiting Puebla at the Estadio Cuauhtemoc.
Chivas are currently seventh and a win here would move them up to fourth in the league table. The Rebaño, however, will have to play this match with a number of injuries. Jair Pereira, Oswaldo Alanis, and Alan Pulido are all set to miss out. The good news is Orbelin Pineda, who picked up a knock playing for Mexico, could be available for Matias Almeyda’s side.
Puebla, on the other hand, will know that only four points separate 16th place from 5th. As such, it is imperative for them to keep earning points at home. They are unbeaten in their last three and have lost just once this season at the Estadio Cuauhtemoc.
Chivas, though, tend to do well in Puebla. Their last league defeat at the Cuauhtemoc came in 2008, and last season they cruised to a 3-0 victory.
