Club America will conclude a week of celebrations when Las Aguilas play host to Xolos de Tijuana, leaders of the Apertura 2016, at the Estadio Azteca on Saturday.

For Las Aguilas, the objective is crystal clear. There isn’t anything more America fans would want in their centenary season than to win the league title. To do that, however, America need to start earning points. Ricardo La Volpe’s side is currently sixth in the league table, and as we enter the business end of the regular season, maintaining a place in the top-eight is a must.

Xolos de Tijuana, of course, have been arguably the best team in Mexico after 12 weeks. Miguel “Piojo” Herrera’s side has not lost a game since week 2, and boast of the league’s top scorer in Dayro Moreno with 9.

The bad news for Tijuana is they have never won a game at the Estadio Azteca. In fact, the last meeting between both teams came in April of this year when America thumped Tijuana 6-1.

With two of the top three best offenses on display, expect goals at the Azteca.
