Liga MX Week 3, 2016 Clausura, TV schedule and live stream

Week 3 officially kicks off on Friday with the usual Friday-feature of two games. In the latter match-up, Xolos de Tijuana will bid to keep their undefeated streak alive at the Estadio Caliente when they take on Santos Laguna.

Having seen Santos pull of a 1-0 victory against Chiapas last week, the Guerreros could be forgiven for their opening week defeat to Leon. The manner in which they executed new manager Luis Zubeldia's game-plan was intriguing and it brought the club its first win at home in eight long months.

But as Dorados found out last week, Tijuana and Miguel Herrera offer a tough matchup. The team from the border will look to build on their bright start to the season and continue employing Herrera's favored style of football.

Speaking of undefeated teams, Club America return to the Estadio Azteca to take on Diego Alonso's Pachuca. After masterminding a 3-0 win against Atlas, Ignacio Ambriz is desperate to set a positive tone at home. Given their struggles at the Estadio Azteca, Ambriz should find a way to get get all three points.

Pachuca, though, have impressed. Despite being frustratingly inconsistent last season, Pachuca have the team to perform to their best of their abilities at a tough environment. Having enjoyed victories at the Estadio Azteca in the past, winning there no longer looks improbable.

The week will end when Chivas play host to Liga MX champions Tigres. It would be remiss to ignore Chivas' heavy pressing style under Matias Almeyda. The problem is their entertaining play hasn't materialized into wins.

With much of the season left to play, Almeyda will be keeping his fingers crossed that his team can finally establish order against the champions. If they can manage to do that, then it would be a welcomed boost to Chivas' start of the season.
