Alan Pulido scored his first Olympiacos goal in their 6-0 Greek Cup win over AO Chania on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the Colorado Rapids of MLS are weighing up a bid for the Mexican forward.
The 24-year-old had a strong first start with Olympiacos after spending all of 2015 on the bench. Pulido helped with Olympiacos' fifth in the 53rd minute as the Athens outfit progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition.
On Tuesday, Pulido had admitted not ruling out leaving Olympiacos for the Colorado Rapids of MLS. According to a report from Jeff Carlisle of ESPN, the Rapids are keen in bringing Pulido on a one-year loan.
Pulido, however, is at the center of a contractual debate with his former club Tigres and it could put his move way from the Greek club at risk. Tigres allege they still hold control of the player's contract, with Pulido arguing he left the club as a free agent.
Since arriving to Olympiacos, though, Pulido has failed to make a league appearance and has played part in just three cup matches, scoring his only goal on Wednesday.
