A trio of Mexican internationals shined on Sunday night, with Hector Herrera and Jesus "Tecatito" Corona notching goals and Miguel Layun adding two assists in FC Porto's 5-0 win over Boavista.

The game was Porto's first since Julen Lopetegui's dismissal on Friday, as Rui Barrios took over the side on an interim basis.

Hector Herrera wasted little time in firing the Dragões into the lead. A fine team move ended with the Mexican being isolated inside the area and scoring his third goal in four games.

Porto eventually found the net a second time near the midway point of the second half. Jesus "Tecatito" Corona set loose on the right and dribbled his way past two defenders before placing his shot into the back of the net.

Miguel Layun, who worked the left back position, also had a fine game for the Dragões. Layun first pitched in Vincent Aboubakar for the third goal of the match, and completed his shift by adding a second assist when Danilo scored a backheel from a corner.

The victory kept Porto four points behind league leaders Sporting in the important race for the title.
