After his extraordinary streak of seven straight games with a goal came to an end, Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez returned to scoring ways as he netted in Bayer Leverkusen's 2-1 defeat to Hertha Berlin.
The forward pulled Leverkusen leveled in the 29th minute when Chicharito connected with an Admir Mehmedi pass and fired a low shot behind Berlin goalkeeper Rune Jarstein.
His goal meant Chicharito has now scored eleven goals in his last ten games in all competitions for the Werkself. In addition, the Mexican international scored his seventh Bundesliga goal of the season.
Bayer Leverkusen next will play hosts to Barcelona at the BayArena in their crucial Champions League clash.
