The Mexico sub-22 is playing in Copa America today (go to our homepage and go to the post below this one for info on that), but the sub-17 has a huge game as well. El Tri is taking on France in the quarterfinals of the 2011 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, and the winner will play the semifinal of the winner of the earlier England-Germany match. Like I mentioned in the earlier post, we're all out with our families for the 4th of July, but we thought the least we could do was give you guys all the basic info and a place to chat. Here's all the info on the game, and normal service will resume later this week with the return of extensive coverage and daily posts.
Mexico vs. France
Time: 7 pm ET, 6 pm local
Venue: Estadio Hidalgo, Pachuca, Mexico
TV: Galavision
Online: ESPN3.com
If you didn't know, the commentary on Galavision will be in Spanish while the commentary on ESPN3 will be in English. The winner of this match plays in the semifinal against the winner of England vs. Germany, which will be played three hours before this match. Chat away, homies.
