El Tri have one more warm-up game before their Gold Cup opener against El Salvador, and this international friendly between Mexico and New Zealand looks like it's going to be a good one. The All Whites have taken a strong team to Denver, and their 4-3-3 (or so it seems) should present an interesting matchup for Mexico and their 4-2-3-1. Predictably, in the absence of Sinha, Giovani Dos Santos starts. Here are the lineups.
New Zealand Lineup: Glen Moss; Winston Reid, Ivan Vicelich, Michael Fitzgerald, Andrew Boyens; Michael Boxall, Simon Elliott, Tim Brown; Shane Smeltz, Kosta Barbarouses, Chris Wood
Mexico Lineup: Guillermo Ochoa; Francisco Rodríguez, Carlos Salcido, Hector Moreno, Efrain Juarez; Gerardo Torrado, Israel Castro; Pablo Barrera, Giovani dos Santos, Andrew Guardado; Aldo de Nigris
New Zealand are a very, very big team, so defending long balls and set pieces will be key for Mexico, as it will be New Zealand's easiest route to a goal. The game kicks off at 10 pm ET, 8 pm local time, and can be seen on Univision in the United States.
