Despite the fact that they're missing a couple of key foriegn-based players, the Mexican national team kicks off their warm-up for the 2011 Gold Cup with a friendly against Ecuador that's as important as friendlies get. Chepo de la Torre is taking this one seriously with a first choice lineup, and Ecuador's lineup looks great as well. Here are the teams.

Mexico lineup (4-2-3-1): Guillermo Ochoa; Jose Torres Nilo, Javier Rodriguez, Hector Moreno, Ricardo Osorio; Gerardo Torrado, Israel Castro; Andres Guardado, Sinha, Pablo Barrera; Aldo de Nigris

Ecuador lineup (4-4-2): Maxi Banguera; Luis Saritama, Geovanny Caicido, Frickson Erazo, Neicer Reasco; Edison Mendez, Segundo Castillo, Walter Ayovi, Michael Arroyo; Christian Benitez, Jaime Ayovi

Mexican football fans will recognize Jaime Ayovi, Christian Benitez, Michael Arroyo, and Walter Ayovi, all of whom play in the Mexican Primera. The Mexican team is close to the first choice squad, with the obvious exception of Aldo de Nigris, who should sit behind Chicharito when he returns from club duty. The match kicks off at 4:25 pm ET, 1:25 local time from Qwest Field in Seattle and can be seen on Univision in the United States.
