Monarcas Morelia host Cruz Azul in the second leg of their Clausura 2011 semifinal match needing a big performance to overturn a 2-0 deficit from the first leg. Cruz Azul's lethal scoring duo of Christian Giménez and Emmanuel Villa were once again on target as  La Máquina Celeste crusied at their home stadium. However, Morelia only needs a 2-0 win at their Estadio Morelos Morelia in order to advance to the final, thanks to their higher seed in the playoffs. Whichever team wins this semifinal matchup will have their hands full in the final against Pumas, who easily dispatched Chivas earlier in the day to establish themselves as favorites to claim the Clausura title. Furthermore, the winner of this semifinal will claim a spot in the 2011-2012 CONCACAF Champions League along with Monterrey, Santos Laguna and Pumas.

Morelia lineup (4-4-2): Vilar; Pérez, Lozano, Huíqui, Aldrete; Hernández, Noriega, Ramírez, Rojas; Sabah, Márquez Lugo

Cruz Azul lineup (4-4-2): Corona, Domínguez, Ponce, Araujo, Pinto; Aquino, Torrado, Pineda, Cortés' Giménez, Villa

The game can be seen on Azteca TV in the United States.
