This is your live match thread for the 2011 Copa Libertadores Round of 16, first leg match between Jaguares de Chiapas and Atletico Junior of Colombia. We'll have a separate match thread later on for the other Copa Libertadores match between Santos FC and Club America, as well as the second leg of the CONCACAF Champions League final between Monterrey and Real Salt Lake. Here are your lineups for the early Copa match.
Jaguares lineup (5-3-1-1): Villapando; Razo, Fuentes, Ruiz, Martinez, Duran; Hernandez, Zamora, Rodriguez; Manso; Salazar
Junior lineup (4-4-2): Viera; Valencia, Macias, Garcia, Otalvaro; Hernandez, Viafara, Fawcett, Gomez; Cortez, Paez
John Viafara is the heartbeat of the midfield for Junior, and his matchup against Daniel Hernandez in the center of the pitch will be a great one to watch all night. Both players are tough tacklers and great passers, and they should be locked up against each other all night. Jaguares are certainly the fitter and faster team, and the key for them will be to push the pace of play.
The game kicks off at 6:30 pm ET and can be seen in the United States on Fox Deportes.
