Chivas Vs. America 2011, Super Clasico: Lineups And Live Match Thread

Welcome to your live match thread for the Super Clasico of the 2011 Clausura, Chivas vs. America from Estadio Omnilife in Guadalajara. Chivas have put out a lineup with absolutely no surprises, while America's lineup is tough to make sense of. Carlos Reinoso has held to his word and left Vicente Vuoso on the bench, starting Vicente Sanchez. Sanchez is in good form, but it's tough to justify leaving your best striker on the bench in a Clasico. America's lineup appears to feature a five-man back line, but it's possible that regular wing back Miguel Layun could move up into a wing role while Diego Cervantes plays left back. For now, we're guessing it's five at the back. Here are the complete lineups.

Chivas lineup (projected 4-4-2): Michel; Esparza, Reynoso, de Luna, Magallon; Araujo, Gallardo, Baez, Medina; Arellano, Torres

America lineup (projected 5-4-1): Ochoa, Rojas, Mosquera, Valenzuela, Cervantes, Layun, Rosinei, Pardo, Montenegro, Reyna, Sanchez

Our man Tom Marshall is at the Estadio Omnilife and will be providing updates about the game. Kickoff is at 7 pm ET. Enjoy the Super Clasico and leave a comment!
