One of the most competitive Mexican Primera regular seasons in recent memory concludes this weekend with much still to be decided. Nearly every match over the next three days holds major implications on playoff positions and seeding. What promises to be an exciting weekend of futbol action kicks off on Friday night with Jaguares traveling on the road to take on Morelia. Monarcas are desperate for a win at home to maintain their narrow hold on a playoff spot, while Jaguares want that all-important top 4 seed. On Saturday, Cruz Azul and America face off in the Clasico Joven, while Chivas and Pachuca do battle in the "equipo de Mexico" invitational. Also on Saturday, Santos Laguna looks to punch their Liguilla tickets with a win over lowly Atlas, and Queretaro hopes a win over Tecos can vault them into their first postseason in club history. On Sunday, Tigres travel south to take on a Puebla side still holding out hope for the playoffs, while Pumas UNAM looks to rebound at home against the Tijuana Xolos.
